10,000 years in the making!!!

lol, not really, but definitely been working on this very on-and-off over the course of the last year or so.

At first, I started the chest/arm armature but then stopped for several months on account of not having the resources for the proportions the frame would yield.

Just recently I decided I'd work on it again and went on a shopping spree for fancy Japanese print paper (probably the most I've ever spent on art supplies in my life ) and started working again.

Naturally, I was going for a more Eastern style for this Fay Merchant's dress. The collar and overall garb is made to be similar to a kimono while the large belle dress is more indicative of typical Fay Merchant attire.

The fan was actually annoying to make because I wasn't sure how I wanted it and I didn't have any really good circle stencils that could stand up against an X-acto knife.
